Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, and also hosting a TV show on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to launch their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was in Jordan. She was able to observe the effect it had on people in her home country and gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
