Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4, 1954. O'Hara is the proud winner of numerous prizes which include the Genie Award. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020 , she received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara became famous as an actress when she was a part of 1974 of The Second City, an Improvisational comedy troupe based out of Toronto. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd began work on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received praise for her comic writing and acting skills which earned her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
