 Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th, 1967 is an American actress, producer and writer. Bello has starred on television in roles including the character Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000) and The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), Michelle McBride (2016), and Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane (2021-2021). Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. 7] At Villanova University, she majored in politics. Bello continued to train in acting by participating in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013 Bello wrote about her former partner Clare Munn's relationship with a same-sex partner.
